Sr Sales Engineer (Industrial Abrasives)

- Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities in the automotive and bearing manufacturing sectors.
- Conduct technical sales presentations and product trials at customer sites.
- Understand customer processes and recommend suitable abrasive solutions (grinding wheels, segments, lapping films).
- Prepare and submit detailed quotations and proposals.
- Negotiate and close deals while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Act as the liaison between the production/technical team and the customer to ensure seamless order execution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product developments.
- Maintain regular reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and customer feedback through CRM tools.
- Attend industry exhibitions, technical seminars, and promotional events.
- Conduct grinding wheels trial and give techno-commercial proposal to the end customer.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the abrasives, machine tools, or consumables for manufacturing industries.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex industrial products.
- Understanding of grinding, finishing, or machining processes is MUST
- Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret specifications is MUST
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Willing to travel extensively to customer sites and industrial hubs.
- Proficiency in English and local language preferred
- Must own a motorcycle or car for travelling to industrial customers
