  • Ensure aviation-related medical activity is compliant with DGCA guidelines
Key AccountabilitiesFunctional Activities
  • Co-ordinate Breath Analyzer activity of respective base and satellite stations for Flight Crew, Cabin crew and ground staff as per DGCA requirements.
  • Ensure that First Aid, Medical and Universal Precaution Kits are packed as per DGCA requirements.
  • Conduct ab initio and recurrent First Aid training of Cabin Crew and Cockpit crew.
  • Conduct of Pre-employment Periodic Medical examination of Cabin crew.
  • Timely professional clearance of Sickness / Fitness cases at bases.
  • Co-ordinate the conduct of PADT as and when required.
  • Clearance of carriage of invalid passengers as per guidelines.
  • Medical examination Pre-employment/ Periodic Medical of ground staff as and when asked for.
  • Maintenance of medical records of Cockpit and Cabin Crew.
  • Inventory management of medical stores including those related to BA activity.
  • Complete medical forms, reports, and documentation as required by regulatory authorities.
  • Coordinate with Emergency services if necessary.
  • Respond to calls and Airport Accident drills conducted by Airport Operator or any other authority.
  • Any other duty assigned by the supervisor.
  • Adhere to patient confidentiality and data protection regulations.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.Skills/Qualities Required

Educational and Experience RequirementsMinimum Education requirements
  • MBBS from a recognized University
ExperienceMinimumDesired
  • 3 years experience as a Doctor
  • 8+ years' experience as a Doctor
  • Training Aviation Medicine
  • Experience in aviation industry is an advantage
