We want to discuss with you why this is a great opportunity!Responsible for delivery of multiple projects, which may include land development projects, utility and site civil projects, including residential, commercial, mixed-use, urban/downtown, and/or industrial development projectsCoordinate with regional leads to increase the business for Pune infrastructure teamCarry out hydraulic design including gravity and pressure network, culverts, pond design etc.Evaluate, select, specify, and engineer all civil-engineered systems or products for a projectEngage in the development of a design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formatsUtilize technologies in the development of three-dimensional models of civil systems and provide markups for supporting engineers/designersPrepare and revise documentation in various civil phases including concepts, preliminary site plans, diagrams, and detailsLead project coordination meetings with internal team members, regional leads and/or external consultants, sub-contractors, and vendorsParticipate in project requirement meetings and value analysis, and basic cost estimatingAct as a resource to developing engineers, GETs, and other technical staff on multiple independent projectsAssist senior engineers/designers with developing and managing the project scope, budget, staffing, and scheduleLead the preparation and coordination of the project specifications with construction documentsPerform and oversee the performance of calculations using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer softwareUtilize advanced techniques for the analysis of specialized civil elementsParticipate in constructability review, if neededConducts quality assurance and quality control on projectsAssist in the development of new standards, efficiencies and specifications for the civil groupUtilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and provide markups for engineers/designers.Whenever required, perform grading design including earthwork analysis, broad and detailed site grading and ADA compliance, utility modellingDesign utility systems, including stormwater runoff & conveyance, sanitary sewer collection and water distribution.Person Specifications:A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering AND OR Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.15+ years of experience for bachelor’s degree OR 12+ years of relevant experience for master’s degree in various civil infrastructure and/or land development projects and at least 5 years of experience working on and managing land development projects in UK and or NASoftware expertise including hydraulic modelling softwares, AutoCAD Civil 3D experience in site civil / land development/roadway/utility design.Experience using common data environment, such as ProjectWise, Navisworks, BIM 360 etc. for coordinated model and clash detection, is preferredDetailed design and engineering knowledge in all relevant areas of land development, site civil works, water, wastewater, and drainage infrastructure components of the projectsUnderstand Net Zero and Sustainability concepts / aspects in design engineering solutionsAssist in preparation of Bid documents, Bill of materials and cost estimates.Knowledge of civil engineering design guides / codes for UK and NA regionsAbility to check the work of others for accuracy and completenessAbility to understand project requirements. Ability to take directions from senior engineers and execute them efficiently,Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office SuiteEffective communicator with excellent organization skills, & ability to work under tight schedulesAbility to make decisions independently and strong problem resolutions skillsRigorous attention to detail, able to understand and adopt workflowsDemonstrated leadership ability and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff and technical specialistsPrimary Location: India | Pune
