explanations.Responsibilities· Lead revenue recognition processes in compliance with IFRS/US GAAP, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of sales and service revenues.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Legal, and FP&A) to review contracts and ensure proper revenue treatment.· Design and implement internal controls over revenue accounting processes to ensure SOX compliance and mitigate financial risks.· Analyze and reconcile revenue accounts, identifying variances and providing actionable insights to senior management.· Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and revenue adjustments.· Drive automation and process improvements in revenue accounting workflows using ERP systems like SAP, Oracle.· Act as the SME for audits, liaising with internal and external auditors to provide documentation and resolve queries.· Monitor and interpret changes in accounting standards, assessing their impact on revenue recognition and advising stakeholders.· Develop and deliver training to accounting teams and business partners on revenue policies and best practices.· Contribute to strategic initiatives, such as pricing models, new product launches, and system implementations from a revenue perspective· Must have strong analytical skills, the initiative to work independently within established guidelines and the ability to handle diverse activities.· Team Handling Stakeholder Mgmt and Analytics Skills.· Creating and Experience following SOPs. , Good at multitasking. Proactive and action oriented.· Develop internal controls to support revenue management activities.· Review and recommend improvements to existing revenue management

reconciliation for the group companies according to procedures, when requiredMinimum Qualifications· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; or commensurate experience.Preferred Qualifications/ Skills· Required experience of working in SAP, Oracle HFM, Intermediate level of MS Office: Outlook, PowerPoint & Working on Excel templates· Relevant experience in GL Accounting, month-end close and reporting, intercompany, reconciliation· Preferable experience in Manufacturing or similar type of industry· Critical thinking and excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsWhy join Genpact?
