Company Description We are seeking a Interiors Project Assistant for an exciting opportunity at Ander Baher in Mumbai, Andheri East. As an assistant project and site operations personnel, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction and interior projects on behalf of your Principal Designer and Architect. Your responsibilities will span review, planning, execution, and efficient project management. Here's what you'll be doing: Responsibilities Design and Bill of Quantities (BOQ): You'll review designs and prepare detailed BOQs, ensuring accurate estimates for materials, labor, and costs. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining project budgets. Materials and Pricing: Managing materials procurement and pricing will be a key part of your role. You'll collaborate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best deals while maintaining quality standards. Logistical Operations: Coordinating logistics is essential. You'll oversee the smooth flow of materials, equipment, and personnel to keep projects on track. Timelines and Quality: Ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality benchmarks is paramount. Your organizational skills will be put to the test as you monitor progress and address any deviations. Client and Vendor Coordination: Effective communication is vital. You'll liaise with clients, vendors, and the construction team to keep everyone aligned and informed. Sustainable Design: If you have an interest in sustainable design practices, this role offers an opportunity to contribute positively to the environment. Qualifications: Pursuing or having completed a degree in Architecture, a diploma in Interior Design, or Civil Engineering with an Interior (or landscaping) background. Familiarity with civil, architectural, and interior design principles, with a specific focus on BOQ, pricing, materials, and labor management. Proficiency in using mobile and internet technologies for communication and project management (think Email, WhatsApp, and billing/payment portals). Excellent collaboration skills-working seamlessly with clients, vendors, and the construction team. Strong organizational abilities to track project timelines, costs, and quality.
