Our approach aims to maximize positive impact for our partners as well as the billions of people that use their products and services.Partner Engineer, Payments ResponsibilitiesWork with Payment partners to work on initiatives across the Meta family of apps to help design and integrate with them to power world class payment experiences for our customersEngage with technical teams at partners (FinTech's, Banks, Networks, etc) and payment regulators to represent the best interest of our payment users and their experience using our servicesBuild new products and improve existing ones in collaboration with Meta product engineering teams and cross functional partners to meet business needsBuild & maintain scaled capabilities required to drive product adoption & spend growth across partners to meet business needsUnderstand and apply knowledge of products, technologies, and business to build solutions to solve for problems at scaleDesign, build & Integrate end-to-end systems and launch-plan strategiesUse broad range of technical and soft skills to build productive relationships with our partners, and independently resolve complex technical and business needsUse expertise and product insight to deliver high-quality project/integration/partner engagements, while influencing product roadmap to meet the business needsGuide workflow changes, and gain consensus from stakeholders while driving toward solutionsRespond and maintain effective communication with industry partners and internal stakeholdersBuild and manage working relationships with technical counterparts. Mentor and share knowledge with peers, creating positive atmosphere amongst teamCoding, code reviews and provide constructive feedback while quickly actioning feedback from code reviews conducted of your codeInfluence decision-making through presentation of data-centric business topicsServe as a subject matter expert within Partner Engineering and provide consultation on domain-level projectsRepresent Meta and our products, APIs and tools in partner meetings and industry eventsParticipate in interviewing and onboarding of new team membersTravel Requirement: up to 20% of the timeMinimum Qualifications5+ years as a software engineer building and shipping production quality codeExperience with open source languages such as PHP, Python, Android, Swift, Java, or JavaScript FrameworksExperience with shipping reliable, scalable, and efficient code, with an emphasis on long-term maintainability, in partnership with all appropriate reviewers, in manageable pieces with relevant documentation and test plansExperience in designing & architecting end-to-end systemsExperience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiencesCurrently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
