Responsibilities Implementation of IST committee recommendations for JSA-RA as IST member for Ash Handling Plant. Preparing PPTs and keeping records of the audit observations. Implement strategic direction to the AHP & ESP maintenance team to facilitate maintenance in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner. Provide input to long term maintenance plans based on predictive & preventive maintenance principles. Cross-train the maintenance team members to handle diverse functions. Continuously improve AHP & ESP to optimize the plant's availability, reliability and efficiency and to increase revenue and O&M targets within operating budget. Develop a team-based working environment and cultivate a corporate culture dedicated to continuous improvement. Maintain positive working relationships with employees to satisfy internal and external customers of the station. Interface with other departments in supporting plant PLF, Heat Rate, and other important goals. Taking precautions, issuing permits and safely carrying out work at height, confined space and high risk areas and attending safety meetings and maintaining housekeeping. Carrying out the job specific training of work which is being carried out and carrying out Safety Interactions on schedule basis. Ensure PTW & LOTO system is followed for every activity to be carried out in AHP area for ensuring safety in accordance with all the safety guidelines provided by safety management system. Ensure compliance and keeping records of the safety audit observations. Carrying audit for unsafe conditions of ESP & ESP Hoppers dry ash evacuation system for unit#1, 2 & 3 common systems of SILO fly ash evacuation system and HCSD System. Qualifications B.E / B.Tech (Mech.) 14-20 Yrs
