Key Responsibilities:1. Market Analysis & Strategy Development * Study and understand the tannery market place in India, with a specific focus on Ambur, Vaniyambadi, Ranipet.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with budget and growth targets.
  • Identify and engage relevant tannery partners to present Technology and close sales deals.
2. Business Development & Sales Execution * Secure long-term supply and service contracts for India.
  • Target: QSM to sign contracts with a specified number of sizeable tanneries in Ambur.vaniyambadi,Ranipet to ensure India reaches breakeven in H2 2025. (5 new Tanneries in H2)
  • Expand the customer base to position as a key supplier to tanneries in Ambur.vaniyambadi,Ranipet and other locations in India.
  • Sales communication is key, providing feedback and information to enable content creation through multiple formats. Understanding and responding to Voice of the Customer (VOC)
3. Co-ordination, attendance and presentation at key conferences and forums * Trade Shows
  • Working with local leather and chemical councils
4. Customer Onboarding & Growth Management * Collaborate with the India team to onboard new customers, ensuring a smooth transition from trial to full-scale operations.
  • Support customers through each stage of growth, from initial trials to full ramp-up; providing rewards for each stage
5. Customer Service & Relationship Management * Provide and manage total customer service for both new and existing clients.
  • Ensure seamless transition from trial phases (T1 through R2) to full-scale operations.
  • Set and manage targets, suspense dates, and incentives (e.g., trophies, certificates) to drive customer progress and satisfaction.
6. Financial Management & Budgeting * Work closely with Finance to update and monitor budget figures for India.
  • Ensure success in achieving budgeted financial targets.
7. Ad-Hoc Support & Special Initiatives * Provide support for other initiatives as requested, contributing to broader business objectives.Candidate's Profile: * Minimum of 10 years in Leather Marketing
  • Experience in B2B sales, contract negotiation, and market expansion.
  • Familiarity with the tannery industry in India is a must
Educational qualification : M.Tech ( or) B.Tech ( or ) MBA
