- Align the new product development process with APQP objectives and identify appropriate controls and monitoring points.
- Development of Quality and Reliability data pipelines in the new product development.
- Initiate and drive Reliability controlling and monitoring efforts for all new product development activities.
- Detail quality and reliability goals and create continuous monitoring processes.
- Drive Requirement analysis, DFMEA, and Design validation activities for electronics and mechanical components.
- Bring in clarity and alignment on reliability objectives and approach among all the product development stakeholders.
- Define risk and risk mitigation plans by using first principles in calculations, testing, and prototyping.
- Maintain documented output from new product development activities to support downstream activities like supplier development, production, and customer integration.
- Develop and practice a failure analysis, recording, and investigation approach required for product development.
- Connect Reliability, Test Capability, and Field performance characteristics to enable the team to measure the product capabilities on quality and reliability.
- Initiate data collection, analysis, and management processes to enable quality/ reliability supporting decision-making ability.
- Bachelor's/Master's in engineering disciplines- Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Metallurgy/ Mechatronics/ Automobile/ Reliability.
- 6+ years of experience in complex electromechanical system integration and evaluation.
- Exposure/ experience of understanding tests, failures, and test methods.
- Data analysis and data management
- Reliability analysis and evaluation capability.
- Resilience and speed to work in a dynamic startup environment.
- Handle complexity and break it down to simpler and/or sophisticated test cases.
- Understand architecture diagrams. Ability to transform diagrams to documents and slide decks.
- Understanding basic electrical/electronic circuits and line diagrams.
- Knowledge of environmental effects on products.
- Knowledge of batteries and chargers.
- Vehicle and Battery homologation.
- Reliability concepts, DFMEA, and First Principles of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Hands-on Python experience. Knowledge C and MATLAB.
- Familiarity with automotive/ aerospace/ engineering documentation/ quality management processes.
