Job Specification:

Experience: 6–8 years in equity research or sector-specific analysis, preferably in the Capital goods; strong buy-side and industry connections will be an added advantage
Sector Focus: Automobile
Educational Qualification: MBA – Finance or CA/CFA with NISM Capital Markets Certification

Roles & Responsibilities:Lead and oversee research initiatives with an exclusive focus on the Capital goods.Conduct thorough analysis of industry trends including EV transition, fuel mix evolution, regulatory developments (BS norms, EV policies), raw material price movements, and competitive landscape across OEMs, auto ancillaries, and two/three/four-wheeler manufacturers.Build and maintain detailed financial models for Capital goods companies - including historical and projected balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements - with DCF or residual income-based valuations and key auto-specific assumptions (volumes, realizations, ASPs, capacity utilization, margins, etc.).Formulate actionable investment recommendations based on in-depth fundamental research and market insights.Foster and sustain strong relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, pension funds, and private equity firms interested in Capital goods sector investments.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, helping them build expertise in the automobile sector and analytical rigor.
