  • Champion DevOps principles and foster a culture of automation, ownership, and continuous delivery across the Rebates Modernization team
  • Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines that support rapid and reliable software delivery
  • Ensure the application layer is stable by supporting our migration to Azure and helping triage production bugs and issues
  • Optimize application-level issues and enhance pipelines and stability issues
  • Ensure it is easier to identify issues and security vulnerabilities at the application layer
  • Integrate security controls and vulnerability scanning into pipelines and infrastructure to support a shift-left approach
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of applications
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
  • Manage and prioritize the security backlog, ensuring proactive identification and remediation of vulnerabilities
  • Support and maintain systems during the migration from IBMi/AS400 and DB2 to a modern Azure-based stack, including Azure Hyperscale SQL, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Services, Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, Azure Databricks, Change Data Capture (CDC) and Kafka for real-time data synchronization
  • Assist in implementing blue-green deployments and other progressive delivery strategies to ensure smooth transitions during modernization
  • Continuously evaluate and improve delivery processes, tooling, and team capabilities
  • Develop and maintain application deployment pipelines using Azure App Services and AKS
  • Implement best practices for application monitoring, logging, and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). EligibilityTo apply to an internal job, employees must meet the following criteria:
  • 12+ months in the current Role or Grade or Level
  • Not on Active CAP at the time of applying for the IJP
  • Employees currently at Grade 27 will move to the next grade and Grade 28 (Lateral Movement) can apply for this position
  • Last Review rating of Meets Expectations or Exceeds Expectation
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in a DevOps, Application Development, or related engineering role
  • •Solid experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
  • •Hands-on experience with CI or CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
  • •Experience with Linux and/or Windows environments
  • •Experience working in distributed, cross-functional teams
  • •Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • •Familiarity with ITSM practices and automation
  • •Proven solid communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
