- Working independently using solid competency in technologies, tools and methods to solve critical issues. Coordinating with relevant functions for resolution of technical issues in their area of expertise
- Determining offered solutions and product versions, including the extent of standard and non-standard solution scope to meet low to high complexity customer requirements. .Supporting technical reviews and participating in core technical meetings
- Building network internally and externally for exchange of information, best practices and lessons learned. Providing support and technical advice to colleagues in specific areas of expertise
- Coordinating technical support to lead level 2 or 3 case management for resolution of technical issue,
- providing support and technical advice to colleagues in specific areas of expertise
- Reports any integrity or compliance or safety or cybersecurity or quality, contract, program and cost issues to management for resolution
- Ensuring that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations, cybersecurity policies, standards and contractual requirements
- B.E or B. Tech in Electronics or Control and Instrumentation Engineering
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in DCS and power plant or process in Offshore Wind industry
- Knowledge of the ABB-DCS 800xA – “SCADA” System Configuration, Application Engineering, Commissioning and Third Party Communication interfaces (Fieldbus, Profibus, ProfiNET, Modbus, OPC, IEC61850, etc.)
- Knowledge in grid code parameters to meet the Grid code compliance of respective customers or Country. Well versed of analyzing and assessing the requirement of a greenfield project RFQ, recommend a technically fitting or cost effective DCS specification of any size
- Knowledge of the field instrumentation (sensors, transducers, drives related to Pressure, Flow, Air Velocity, Temperature, Level, control philosophy for process or power plants, structural and functional architecture of control systems
