TBM Civil Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in tunneling projects, with a focus on TBM tunneling.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably as a project in charge or one level below in charge

• Lead TBM tunneling projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of tunnel construction, including planning, design, execution, and monitoring.

• Manage and supervise the operation of Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs), ensuring efficient and safe tunnel excavation.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs for TBMs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

• Utilize extensive knowledge of TBM tunneling techniques, methodologies, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams, resolving engineering challenges and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the integrity of tunnel structures.
• Conduct inspections and assessments to guarantee compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geotechnical engineers, surveyors, and construction crews.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment to enhance project efficiency.

• Prioritize and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel involved in tunneling projects.
• Stay abreast of industry safety standards and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.

• Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and any changes in project scope.
• Prepare and present regular updates to project stakeholders and management.
