- The Group Planning & Performance Management (PPM) team is part of the Finance department and plays a key role in setting Deutsche Bank’s strategic direction, translating the vision into financial plans and outcomes and then ensures the successful execution of those via comprehensive performance management. PPM consists of several crucial functions that support senior management in formulating and driving delivery against DB’s strategic objectives, e.g. the Financial Planning & Analysis functions, Competitor Benchmarking and Balanced Scorecard. Key objectives are e.g. setting financial targets and developing a Group plan, provide financial performance updates and projections to the Management Board (MB), host monthly performance review meetings to challenge the Divisional results and analyze DB’s performance vs. key competitors. PPM reports directly into the Group Chief Financial Officer and primarily operates in Frankfurt, London and Mumbai.
- The role is part of the Divisional Performance Management team that focuses on hosting monthly Performance Review meetings to track strategy execution and to generate key insights to senior management on e.g. revenue drivers, flow & volume growth and industry trends. Become an expert in one or two of the bank’s Divisions and build up trustworthy relationships across the bank.

- Support the monthly Divisional performance management processes including prior month’ performance, forward-looking Forecast, Plan targets and quarter-end external Earning results & communication
- Actively develop a storyline for your responsible Division(s) and increase business knowledge and insights on products, client groups and regional footprint
- Support the monthly Performance Review Meetings by ensuring a timely and high qualitative submission, write an insightful briefing note to senior management including the CFO, write meeting minutes and follow-up on agreed action points
- Prepare bespoke performance analyses and projections and challenge the status quo
- Track & challenge the execution of the Divisional targets announced in the latest Investor Deep Dive, including analyze and understand the investment & benefit growth cases
- Support & develop process automation including AI solutions
- Degree in economics, ideally with a focus on finance, controlling, and/ or accounting
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- High level of initiative and pro-activity
