- Lead the technical evolution of new induction cooktops from ideation to production.
- Conduct rigorous product testing to ascertain safety, reliability, and performance.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and materials pertinent to the induction cookware sector.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot technical challenges and enhance existing products.
- Work alongside design teams to ensure products are both aesthetically appealing and functional.
- Ensure alignment of designs with market trends and consumer preferences.
- Employ CAD and other design software for creating and tweaking designs.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor offerings to spot opportunities for product innovation.
- Design products with a keen eye on market adaptability, considering diverse customer segments and geographic variances.
- Engage closely with marketing and sales teams to grasp market demands and adjust product designs and functionalities accordingly.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, engineering, and production teams for successful product launches.
- Effectively communicate with all stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure alignment on product development objectives.
- Exhibit a strong will to execute tasks efficiently within stipulated timelines, even under company pressures.
- Remain fully dedicated to company objectives, prioritizing them over personal or family issues.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain focus and productivity in a demanding work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D, preferably within the induction cooktop or home appliances industry.
- Solid technical knowledge of induction technology and electronics.
- Proficiency in CAD and other design software.
- Exceptional problem-solving and project management skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt products for different market segments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
