Role: Performance Tester with 3 to 8 years of experience.
Location: Trivandrum/CochinSkills and Qualifications:
- Active participant in all phases of the project lifecycle. Work with project stakeholders during project definition to help the team understand risks, dependencies, and opportunities; participate in requirements definition and review; lend subject matter expertise to projects.
- Analyzes requirements, deliverables, results, etc.
- Assists in performance requirement definition.
- Ability to create test scenarios and test plans using performance tools like jMeter, Neoload etc
- Ensures consistency and adherence to organizational practices. Builds and evaluates quality checkpoints.
- Reviews, monitors and summarizes progress of performance testing activities. Suggest and implement process improvements that will accomplish team, department and business goals.
- Provide mentoring or coaching to engineers, software developers and QA testers.
- Strong performance testing experience ideally with Apache JMeter.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Preferred experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Experience working in an agile engineering environment
- Demonstrate knowledge of any project management tool like HP ALM, JIRA etc
- Familiarity with software testing (unit, integration, functional, regression).
- Familiarity with web services standards and related technologies (XML, SOAP, JSON, etc.).
- Experience working on Linux/Unix and Cloud environment
- Knowledge of database query tools and ability write and run SQL queries
