Our expertise extends to multimodal transport solutions, customs clearance, port security, and environmental sustainability, positioning us as a key player in global trade and logistics.Job Purpose: Head - EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) is responsible for leading sustainable environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and driving the company's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) targets. This role involves overseeing environmental projects, providing technical support, and fostering a culture of sustainability within the organization.Responsibilities:Strategy and Planning:Formulate and execute EHS strategies aligned with organizational goals to enhance overall safety and environmental performance.Budget Management:Develop and manage the EHS budget, ensuring cost-effective implementation of EHS initiatives.EHS Program Implementation:Create and implement health, safety, occupational, and environmental programs to prevent injuries and illnesses in the workplace and mitigate environmental hazards.Incident Investigation & Corrective Action:Inspect and investigate workplace and environmental incidents, adhering to company procedures, and implementing corrective actions as needed.Regulatory Compliance :Ensure adherence to internal and external EHS requirements and identify areas for continuous improvement.Training & Safety Awareness:Develop and manage EHS training programs for employees to promote a safe and compliant work environment.Stakeholder Management:Maintain and foster relationships with community members, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the organization's environmental performance.Brand Positioning:Ensure Adani's brand values are shown in all interactions. Strengthen relationships to boost the organization's brand and trust within the market and company.Digital Mindset:Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.Team Development:Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.Key Stakeholders - Internal:HSEF Department, Operations and Maintenance Teams, Cross-functional Teams (HR, Legal)Key Stakeholders - External:Government Regulatory Bodies, Industry Compliance Partners, Consultants and Auditors, Vendors and SuppliersQualifications:Educational Qualification:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.Post Diploma in Industrial Safety (Mandatory)Work Experience:Minimum 15 - 20 years of experience of progressive experience in EHS management, with infrastructure/construction industry at least 5 years in a leadership role.
