ob Summary:We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled SAP ABAP Competency Lead to join our growing team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading ABAP development efforts, mentoring junior developers, managing project deliveries, and ensuring high-quality coding standards across the team.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the SAP ABAP development team across multiple projectsDesign, develop, test, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms (RICEFW)Drive solution architecture and technical design for SAP ABAP development across modules (MM, SD, FICO, PP, etc.)Provide expert-level support in debugging and performance tuning of ABAP programsEnsure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standardsCollaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutionsGuide and mentor junior ABAP developers and conduct code reviewsParticipate in project planning, estimation, and status reportingSupport S/4HANA migration or implementation projects, if applicableTechnical Skills:Strong command over Classical and Object-Oriented ABAPProficiency in RICEF: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (SAP Script/SmartForms/Adobe)Experience with ALE/IDocs, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, BDC, and LSMWFamiliarity with SAP Fiori, OData, and CDS Views is a plusKnowledge of S/4HANA ABAP programming techniques (AMDP, CDS, etc.) preferredSoft Skills:Strong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesProblem-solving mindset and proactive attitudeAbility to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
