Position Summary Lead Engineer / Chief Engineer / Senior Chief Engineer - 5G/LTE MAC Design and Development Domain expert for 5G MAC scheduler and other related aspects. MAC scheduler is heart of overall RAN (Radio Access Network) and these experts can bring vast amount of experience both for scheduler design/implementation guidance and issue analysis. You will work closely with the Network R&D team to harmonize network application development and design work. Skills and Qualifications Total Experience: 4 to 16 years Bachelors/Masters/PhD in ECE / CS Minimum 47 years of experience in LTE MAC (Pref. MAC Scheduler). Experience in 5G MAC is plus. Strong domain knowledge in LTE/Pre-5G/5G NR. Should have strong knowledge on 3gpp specs (Rel 10 onwards...) Experience with all phases of SDLC cycle Ability to write quality artifacts during the development cycle Candidates should have strong experience in 4G/5G MAC scheduler and other related aspects Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well with others in diverse teams. Passion for continuously learning and development. Role and Responsibilities 1. [Protocol and interface designing] Design transport protocol and interface required for transporting bulk data in real-time and participate in designing as a partner. 2. [Transport protocol analysis] Analyze protocol required between network elements and support to search data in necessary. 3. [Transport protocol and interface development] Implement transport protocol and interface required for transporting bulk data in real-time between network elements. 4. [Transport optimization] Support to implement congestion control and flow control algorithm for optimizing transport efficiency.
