- Recruit and develop a high-performance team to deliver factory design features to internal consumers and external customers
- Connect team members' work with organisational goals
- Enhance engineering efficiency by identifying opportunities and implementing necessary improvements
- Facilitate resolution of impediments for the team on dependencies or other such roadblocks
- Collaborate with teams across organisational boundaries to achieve project goals and timelines
- Promote a culture of customer-centricity and customer empathy. Solve critical customer incidents and issues promptly
- Build Customer Trust by delivering resilient, performant, scalable, and secure solutions
- Promote a culture of company success over individual team success
- Participate in developing clarity on project plans and help teams adapt to required changes
- Experience communicating achievements, updates, risks and resolutions to partners
- Manage team performance and support each team member in their career development and professional growth
- BS in engineering, computer science, or equivalent industry experience
- 8 years working experience developing commercial software applications with at least 3 of those years as a manager leading software development teams
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and Service Oriented Architecture
- Experience in frontend development such as JavaScript/HTML/CSS
- Proficiency in software development practices and methodologies
- Experience presenting to large audiences and leading group activities
- Experience making necessary tradeoffs to provide software solutions against accelerated timeframes
- Experience collaborating with colleagues across different time zones
- Experience managing changes in priorities and requirements, even if it is late in the development cycle
- Understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile frameworks
- Experience with WebGL and 3D graphics programming
- Experience building Progressive Web Applications
- Masters in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline
- Understanding of Discrete Event Simulation
