As a Full Stack FIS/Sungard Omni Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and engineering the end-to-end features of Omni system. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design user experiences, writing backend code, and utilizing innovative technologies to enhance client services. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the solutions you deliver are aligned with a cloud-first and agile approach, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the projects you work on.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement new features.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in FIS/Sungard Omniplus platform, Microfocus Cobol, Unix/Linux scripting.
- Must To Have Domain Skills: Retirement Plans (401k, 403b, IRA), Retirement Planning & Services.
- Strong understanding of Omni Transaction processing and Omni end-to-end processes.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.
- Experience with file and database management and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and agile development practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microfocus Cobol.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
