Job Description Position Title: Senior Software Engineer Summary/Objective: Senior Software Engineer is a position that can manage advanced project work on both large-scale, high-profile projects and/or multiple smaller projects. Team member will manage day-to-day details of each assigned project and communicate progress to the assigned Project Manager. Essential Functions: Cover all base software engineer duties Have advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming Understand and be able to speak to all aspects of the software development lifecycle (i.e. requirements, analysis, design implementation, testing and documentation) and associated execution models (i.e. Waterfall, Agile, etc.) Prioritize work and execute on ideas to meet client needs Show aptitude for owning responsibility of technical decisions and direction for one or many projects/teams Demonstrate interest in improving the company's technical awareness, depth and use of technology across the business Participate in the evolution of company level best practices, standards, and policies related to software development Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed by company leadership. Competencies: Serve as an expert when using any development language or framework used for a project, including but not limited to C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, WPF, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analysis and problem-solving skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong business acumen with the ability to work and interact directly with clients independently and autonomously Work Environment: Sitting for long periods, standing and walking intermittently Using office equipment such as computer, mouse, keyboard, printer Indoor office environment, temperature controlled Occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds Travel as needed for client projects, up to at least 25% Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in is required, commensurate experience will be considered 5+ years ' experience in information technology, or professional services as a Project Manager or other leadership in consulting services delivery required
