Seeking an Electrical & Electronic Design Engineer to join our Water Mist development team. Reporting to the Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of electrical and electronic systems supporting next-generation Water Mist fire suppression solutions.This role is hands-on and focused on electrical architecture, control panel design, component integration, and compliance with international standardsResponsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical and electronic systems for Water Mist fire suppression solutions.
  • Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
  • Define electrical architecture and support control panel hardware design.
  • Integrate sensors, actuators, and monitoring devices into system designs.
  • Support system prototyping and laboratory testing (electrical setup, troubleshooting, validation).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards and fire system regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, R&D, and suppliers for system to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical subsystems.
  • Participate in FMEA and risk assessment activities from an electrical perspective.
  • Support sourcing, validation, and qualification of electrical and electronic components.
  • Prepare and maintain electrical documentation, test procedures, and reports.
  • Propose improvements to electrical designs to enhance reliability and performance
Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
  • 3–7 years of experience in electrical/electronic design (automation, safety systems, industrial equipment, or similar).
  • Experience in Fire Suppression industry is a plus.
  • Strong experience with control panel hardware design and wiring.
  • Proficiency with electrical CAD tools (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent).
  • Good understanding of electrical safety standards and certification processes.
  • Experience with electrical testing and diagnostics.
  • Strong attention to detail and structured documentation skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to testing locations, suppliers and other sites as required.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a cross-functional environment.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and compliance..
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 365.
