Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.
Act as primary technical co-ordination interface with client to ensure that the client's expectations are satisfied.
Ensure the project conforms to the client's approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements.

Job Title: Senior Project Engineer (Global Title)General Manager (Local Title)Location: KolkataPrimary Job Responsibilities:· Graduate Engineer with 24-27 years of Engineering exposure in a consultancy organization, out of which at least 2-5 years of experience in Engineering Management. Experience range can be flexible for deserving candidate· Candidates with experience in engineering department of a Metal / Mineral / Chemical Processing plant can also apply. However at least 10 years of engineering consultancy in Metal / Mineral / Chemical Processing project execution will be required.· Experience in Engineering Management functions namely managing the technical governance of multi discipline team in a project, engineering interface with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), develop solutions to engineering problems, identify key design changes, align with stakeholders on decisions and budget and track implementation, periodically review and manage engineering resources for proper execution, review Skills required for a function and identify skill gaps with training requirements, monitoring Quality Assurance & Technical Integrity of Design Outputs, driving and monitoring engineering reviews like HAZOP/HAZID/3D Model Reviews etc· Experience in phases of engineering e.g., Concept, Basic and Detail Engineering phases· Experience in providing visible leadership and governance in engineering delivery· Experience in people management, performance evaluation, resource planning, recruiting etc.· Knowledge of national, international codes and standards,· Orientation to working in workshare and global integrated delivery environments· Understanding of Project requirements like productivity/ schedule workhour control etc.· Capable of interacting with all stakeholders including client and vendors.· Have good understanding of requirements from all disciplines like Process, Mechanical, Piping / Electrical & Instrumentation / Mechanical, Civil & Structural etc.· Good communication and presentation skills, verbal and written so as to communicate with client and lead offices.· Support proposal engineering· Should be open for short travel and deputation to sites / lead offices where required.QualificationsTechnical and Industry Experience

Substantial technical, practical and leadership experience in the relevant discipline and proven experience in project engineering on smaller projects, with associated commercial and contractual experience.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, TrainingRequired:A recognised engineering degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent.Preferred:

Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status
Eligible for Certified Practising Project Practitioner (CPPP) certification or equivalent
