
ERP Operations Engineer

- Interact with business stakeholders to gather functional requirements.
- Translate functional needs into technical solutions for P2P processes.
- Design scalable, modular architecture for Oracle P2P (especially Oracle EBS).
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Coordinate architecture efforts across multiple pillar app teams interfacing or leveraging the ERP’s data.
- Enforce the use of flexible design standards for the creation of reusable solutions that can be shared/utilized across the businesses utilizing our ERPs.
- Customize Oracle P2P modules (Purchasing, Payables etc).
- Design and implement integrations with third-party systems (via APIs, web services).
- Ensure secure and efficient data flow between Oracle and other applications.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in P2P cycle (e.g., PO creation, invoice matching).
- Optimize performance and address system bottlenecks.
- Coordinate unit testing, SIT, and UAT.
- Manage migration of code/configurations across environments.
- Create technical design documents and user manuals.
- Provide post-deployment support and enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- Minimum of 6-8 years experience with Oracle EBS R12 with focus in either of Oracle’s cycle based modules with preference given to Procure to Pay preferably for a manufacturing and distribution company in a global, multi-tiered supply chain environment.
- Ability to read/write/understanding of SQL, PL/SQL code.
- Oracle XML Publisher (BI Publisher): Report development and template customization.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in information systems design, implementation or operations
- Knowledge and familiarity in underlying Oracle ERP applications database architecture, as well as Oracle database and development tools
- Knowledge of Project and Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies Capable of planning and organizing work and processes in a continuously moving support model.
- Oracle WebADI: Data uploads, template creation, custom integrators.
- REST Services: Design and consumption of RESTful APIs for integration.
- Oracle Workflow: Workflow customizations and approval hierarchies in P2P processes.
- Understanding the key tables and process architecture of one or more of the Oracle EBS process cycles of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Inventory or Manufacturing
- Functional knowledge of one or more other Oracle base modules including Purchasing, Inventory, WIP, Shipping Execution, and/or Accounts Receivable.
- Understanding of module specific API’s and ability to design, implement and support custom extensions that integrate with vanilla processes.
- Ability to create and execute test plans as well to create requirement and design documents

- Ability to coach & train, motivate team to adopt standards & methodologies
