JR39186 Senior / Module Equipment Engineer (Surface Mount Technology) (Evergreen) As a SSD Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the activities and operation of an Equipment Engineering section, working together with other functional groups locally and/or globally to accomplish organizational and business objectives by ensuring the production equipment is in control and quality/reliability of product meets expectation sustaining and improving the key performance indices of the equipment through continuous improvement activities / projects reducing cost through continuous cost reduction effort defining, developing and maintaining equipment capabilities, strategy and roadmap developing new capabilities ahead of needs. Responsibilities and Tasks: Ensure the production equipment is in control and quality/reliability of product meets expectation Implement Preventive / Predictive maintenance program Monitor Module/SSD Test / Label Yield and understand the key yield losses Establish indirect spare inventory system for key equipment's Sustain and improve the key performance indices of the equipment through continuous improvement activities / projects Establish team(s) to work on Continuous Improvement projects Maintain a matrix on equipment capabilities and constraints Develop a strategy to develop new capabilities or to overcome the identified process constraints Work with equipment suppliers to develop new material / capabilities Be constantly on the lookout for new equipment suppliers / new technology and capability Work with equipment suppliers to develop new capability Define and implement quality systems - FMEA, QCP, SPC, as required Maintain in-depth process knowledge Develop, implement and ensure effectiveness process control. Improve and review them when new risks are identified Monitor process quality indices and continually improve them. Maintain documentation of process specifications and standard operating procedures Implement changes due to customer requirement, process improvement and train workforce when necessary Problem solving of process issues which includes finding root cause, containment of materials, implement corrective and preventive actions. Evaluate new risks identified with new products and provide engineering solutions and train workforce if necessary Monitor new product quality indices and bring it to maturity level Feedback to NPI lead and design group on problems, potential problems / opportunities and DFM guideline Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical / Material/ Electrical Engineering Have working experience 5 years in manufacturing. Self-driven to achieve targets in tight schedule with limited resources. Expertise in label creation is advantageous . Experience in test manufacturing is advantageous .
