Join us.Job DescriptionPosition OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Construction Planning Expert to lead the planning and execution of major bridge projects. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in civil works, construction planning, and project management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive construction plans, schedules, and methodologies for major bridge projects.
Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Implement advanced construction planning tools and techniques to optimize project execution.
Lead multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants, to achieve project objectives.
Provide strategic direction and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure effective communication and coordination among stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government authorities.
Oversee the construction, supervision, and execution of major bridge projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with contract management teams to ensure alignment with project goals and contractual obligations.
Manage relationships with clients, funding agencies, and other key stakeholders to address project requirements and resolve issues.
Establish quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards of construction.
Prepare detailed project reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and performance metrics, for internal and external stakeholders.

QualificationsQualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
Post-Graduation in Construction Management or a Certificate Course in Construction Management/Contract Management or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil works, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
At least 7 years of experience as a Construction Planning Expert or Project Manager in major bridge projects.
Proven experience in the construction, supervision, and execution of at least two major bridge projects.

Additional InformationPreferred Attributes

Experience working on projects funded by multilateral or bilateral agencies.
Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an added advantage.
Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera, MS Project, or equivalent software.
