About the Role :We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Catalog Manager to take full ownership of our product catalog across multiple e-commerce platforms. You will be responsible for managing over 1000+ SKUs, ensuring high-quality content, faster turnaround times, and seamless product discovery and presentation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within the fashion, beauty, or jewelry space.Key Responsibilities :Catalog Management:- Maintain and regularly update a master catalog of 1000+ SKUs, including product titles, detailed descriptions, specifications, pricing, and GTINs.- Ensure all catalog data is accurate, complete, and consistent across all platforms and channels.Content Creation & Optimization:- Write and edit compelling, SEO-optimized product content that aligns with the brand's tone of voice.- Regularly audit and improve product content based on SEO best practices and customer feedback.- Collaborate with content and design teams to ensure product listings are visually appealing and conversion-focused.Asset Management:- Coordinate with the design and photography teams to manage product images, videos, and other digital assets.- Ensure the right images and assets are mapped to the correct SKUs on all platforms.Listing Efficiency & SOP Development:- Reduce product listing turnaround time (TAT) to under 48 hours.- Develop and refine SOPs and internal workflows to speed up the cataloging process without compromising on quality.- Maintain trackers and reports to monitor the status and health of the catalog.Platform-Specific Adaptation:- Customize product listings and content for different e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, etc.).- Ensure listings meet the specific guidelines and standards of each platform.Campaign & Collection Launches:- Work closely with the marketing team to launch seasonal collections, themed bundles, and festive drops.- Strategically plan product sequencing and layout to boost key conversion metrics such as CTR (Click-Through Rate), ATC (Add to Cart), and CVR (Conversion Rate).Performance Monitoring & Reporting:Track and report on key catalog metrics including:- % of SKUs live- Listing/content quality score- Turnaround times (TAT)- Conversion performance- Use insights to drive continuous improvement in catalog management processes.Requirements :- Experience: 3-5 years in catalog or product content management within the fashion, beauty, or jewelry industry.Technical Skills:- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data cleanup, etc.)- Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and other leading e-commerce CMS platforms.Soft Skills :- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.- Strong communication skills (verbal & written).- Ability to work cross-functionally with teams (marketing, design, operations, etc.).- Proactive, self-driven, and capable of handling tight deadlines.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience working with analytics tools to measure catalog performance.- Prior experience in scaling catalogs in D2C or marketplace-led businesses.- Understanding of keyword research, SEO, and content ranking algorithms.
