  • Develop, integrate, and optimize software platforms for android automotive based Digital cockpit systems
  • Contribute individually and perform Technical Lead role for a team of 10+ members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements, specifications, and architecture.
  • Technically lead software simulations and testing to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Perform system-level debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization to resolve software issues.
  • Support Industry Leader in technical pitches/presentations for business development activities
  • Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation, including software design specifications, test plans, and validation reports.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in automotive software engineering.
Work ExperienceRequired Skills (Technical Competency):
  • 14+ years of experience in Platform development / BSP Customization for Automotive infotainment systems and Instrument Clusters
  • Strong understanding of the Android Automotive OS (AAOS) framework.
  • Experience in customizing and extending the Android framework for automotive applications.
  • Strong Proficiency in Java and C/C++
  • Strong Proficiency in Android 14 or later
  • Ability to analyze and debug audio/DSP-related issues.
  • Experience in integrating DSP solutions into Android-based automotive audio platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and debugging device drivers for automotive systems.
  • Experience in customization of Android SDK through HAL, V-HAL and CarApi extensions
  • Knowledge of working with diagnostic modules in automotive systems.
  • Familiarity with testing and validation of Android middleware and device driver modules.
  • Good understanding of the Android build system and the flashing process.
  • Experience in using tools like CAN analysers for debugging and testing.
  • Experience with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
  • Familiarity with automotive development processes and tools (e.g., AUTOSAR, DOORS, Vector tools).
  • Familiar with functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity standards (ISO/SAE 21434).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering automotive projects from concept to production.
