As a Lead Software/Data Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex technical systems of varying sizes to new and existing customers and will be part of discovering new technologies within the FinTech industry.We are looking for candidates who share those values along with a genuine desire and drive to deliver top technology solutions to today's markets.Your role and responsibilities:The engineering team builds, maintains, and scales the Data Platform that ensures that data is up to date, accurate, and reliable. As a Lead Software/Data Engineer on this team, you will contribute to building a scalable and fault-tolerant data platform that cleans, transforms, and loads data from a variety of sources and delivers it in whatever format our users choose to consume it in. We use modern development methodologies with short sprints, careful code review, and continuous deployment. We have built out a micro-services architecture using AWS, Databricks, and Python. Additionally, we leverage AI automation to improve efficiency and accuracy in our data processing pipelines. We believe that the key to efficiency is for every team member to know praccuratelyow their work helps our customers and our business. As such, we place a premium on transparency, communication, and shared understanding of tactics and strategy. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.Furthermore, you will: * Be an ambitious thinker and problem solver.

Uses deep technical knowledge to design, code, test and/or customize software solutions to meet or exceed client requirements, adding market/industry trends as vital.
Determines systems software design requirements.

We expect you to have * Minimum of 8 years of work experience in Software Development experience.

Solid Understanding of Python or Java. Experienced in AWS.
Must have experience working on distributed data tools: Databricks, Spark, Kafka, etc.
Experience with relational SQL including Postgres and MySQL.
Knowledge of RESTful API creation, Git.
Become comfortable with modern agile software development workflows.
Value teamwork, communication, transparency and structure.
Be eager to take the lead and ownership of the projects they work on.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Education Qualification: Bachelor/Master in computer science.

Develops security solutions for assignments growing in complexity.
Develops program logic for new applications or analyses and modifies logic in existing applications.
Modifies existing internal software products to add to new functions, adapt to new technologies or methods, improve performance or enhance product usability.
Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and supervised to increase efficiency and makes changes as required.
May be developing as a generalist and become more involved in various aspects of a project including firmware, hardware, architecture, database warehouse and mining, database design and analysis, software development and testing.
Implement and maintain AI-driven automation processes to optimize data workflows.
Utilize machine learning techniques to improve data quality and process efficiency.
Develop and deploy automated solutions for data cleansing, transformation, and validation.
