Make sure build and deployment processes are following known best practices. Assists with the management and performance of the infrastructure and deployment of applications. Diagnosis, isolates, and debug application problems and performs problem resolution. Monitors systems capacity and performance to allow for scaling of high performance as necessary. Contribute across all phases of development projects (e.g. Plan, Analyse, Design, Build, and Test). Leverage technical expertise to design and implement Java and AWS-based solutions. Liaise effectively between business stakeholders, IT staff, and partners to ensure high quality and timely resolution of issues. Research and propose solutions for non-standard issues. Technical design and solution development using Java and AWS services. Collaborate with cross-functional technology and design teams to ensure consistent and positive interaction throughout solution delivery. Work under general guidance and direction, exercising autonomy in decision-making related to work processes This Role Requires: Minimum Requirements: Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (Spring boot, java 8). Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway. Familiarity with CSS, JavaScript, and Web API development. Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts. Knowledge of Python. Experience working with DevOps or similar tools. Experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment. Agile delivery model experience. General familiarity with networking, security and automated deployments Requires expertise in Application Server and Web Server architecture in a large enterprise environment Strong knowledge of high-availability, load-balancing and failover configurations across application, infrastructure, and platform components Understanding of security design for enterprise software systems Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and manage action plans. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. Preferred Education Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
