In this role, you'll collaborate with design, development, and strategy teams to enhance storefront performance, create seamless user experiences, and deliver impactful e-commerce solutions.Requirements:Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain custom Shopify apps to extend store functionality and support unique business requirements.
  • Develop and customize Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid for tailored shopping experiences.
  • Integrate third-party apps, APIs, payment gateways, and shipping providers.
  • Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to ensure precise, high-quality implementation.
  • Optimize application performance, speed, and scalability with a focus on security and mobile responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues related to apps, APIs, or storefronts.
  • Stay updated with the latest Shopify platform enhancements, Liquid updates, and development best practices.
  • Work alongside project managers and stakeholders to provide technical input and deliver projects on time.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using version control (Git).
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of Shopify development experience with a strong portfolio of custom apps and theme work.
  • Proficient in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiar with modern frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in Shopify App development (knowledge of Node.js, React, or Ruby is a strong plus).
  • Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and headless commerce concepts.
  • Skilled in using version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
