As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of talented engineers, driving innovation and ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects while aligning technical expertise with business objectives.
- Oversee and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and external technical professionals
- Develop and implement engineering strategies that align with organizational goals
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects
- Monitor and optimize the performance of plant equipment and systems
- Implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability
- Spearhead energy conservation initiatives and improve operational efficiency
- Develop and execute training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and problem-solving
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures
- Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for engineering projects
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering management
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing engineering teams
- Extensive knowledge of engineering principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong decision-making abilities and attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven track record of driving innovation and process improvements
- Experience with energy conservation and efficiency programs (preferred)
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and practices
- Familiarity with fire protection systems and emergency response procedures
