Review and interpret legacy 2D engineering drawings for turboexpander components
Create accurate 3D models in SolidWorks based on existing 2D drawings
Develop complete machine assemblies showing component relationships and interfaces
Perform axial stackup analysis to verify clearances and assembly tolerances; validate dimensional chains and tolerance stackups for critical assemblies
Update drawings to latest drafting standards (GD&T, material specifications, tolerances)
Perform design checks for accuracy, interference, and assembly compatibility
Review and validate manufacturing processes and feasibility
Generate updated 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D models
Coordinate with engineering team in Italy and USA for technical clarifications and approvals
Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and safety regulations

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master’s degree preferred
5 – 15 years of experience in mechanical design and drafting
Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling and 2D drafting) highly desirable
Experience with Compressor OEM and/or high-speed turbomachinery preferred
Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes
Experience with dimensional tolerance and stackup analysis for high precision machine components
Ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings and legacy documentation
Ability to work in a collaborative environment with international teams
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Good communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
