
Global projects & facilities MEP lead

- Lead and coordinate MEP aspects of all construction and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure alignment with design standards, budgets, and deadlines.
- Manage vendor contracts, negotiations, and relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Prepare and present project status reports, budgets, ROI analyses, and procurement plans.
- Provide layout and planning support for office, lab, and data center expansions and relocations.
- Facilities Operations & Maintenance:
- Supervise day-to-day operations and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures, ensuring system reliability and safety.
- Oversee compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) laws, codes, and regulations.
- Manage transportation logistics for employees and visitors as part of site operations.
- Strategic Facilities Planning:
- Optimize space utilization across office and technical environments (labs, data centers).
- Drive sustainability efforts and evaluate energy-efficient technologies to lower operational costs.
- Coordinate building modifications, retrofits, and infrastructure upgrades in line with business needs.
- Prepare permit applications and compliance documentation for regulatory agencies.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Coordinate closely with Procurement for tendering, bid evaluation, and vendor onboarding.
- Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, and Operations teams to align Facility goals with business priorities.
- Interface with local authorities, government agencies, and auditors to maintain legal and environmental compliance.
- Deep Technical knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, UPS, DG, Fire detection, and fire suppression systems.
- Well-versed in the latest industry trends, green building practices, and compliance norms (NBC, IS Codes, ASHRAE, etc.)
- Proven ability to interpret Design documents, drawings, and technical specifications, and provide advice to improvise the efficiency, reliability of the proposed system,
- High attention to detail and a commitment to Safety, Quality, and sustainability.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing energy-saving initiatives and capital projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English and local languages.
- Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including cross-functional coordination.
