Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹45,000 per month (based on experience)Job Summary:We are seeking a Lab Technician with hands-on experience in construction material testing for high-rise residential and commercial building projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance by conducting field and laboratory tests on construction materials, ensuring adherence to relevant codes and project specifications.Key Responsibilities:Conduct routine laboratory and on-site testing of construction materials (e.g., concrete, cement, aggregates, soil, bricks, steel, bitumen, water).Maintain proper records and documentation of all tests conducted as per quality standards and project requirements.Prepare and submit test reports to the QA/QC Engineer and Project Manager.Ensure calibration and maintenance of all laboratory equipment.Support quality control and assurance activities by verifying material compliance with IS/ASTM/BS/EN standards.Assist in sampling and field testing during various construction activities.Maintain proper hygiene, safety, and housekeeping standards in the lab.Coordinate with third-party labs and consultants for specialized testing, if required.Qualifications:Education: Graduate or Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant field.Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in construction material testing, preferably on high-rise or large-scale building projects in EPC contracting companies.Skills Required:Proficiency in standard testing methods (IS codes, ASTM, etc.)Basic knowledge of QA/QC practices in constructionAttention to detail and accuracy in test execution and reportingGood communication and record-keeping skillsPreferred Background:
Candidates from reputed EPC contracting firms with exposure to high-rise construction projects will be given preference.
