- Assisting the Project Manager on a range of tasks, to include:
- Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking
- Establishing effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project
- Producing project plans
- Monitoring and documenting project progress and other performance indicators
- Tracking and documenting changes
- Preparing written project communication materials
- Preparing formal project progress and other reports
- Liaising with the client, contractors and designers
- Attending meetings and drafting minutes, etc
- Preparing presentation materials for client pitches, etc
- Inputting key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database
- Reporting
- Depending upon context, an Assistant Project Manager is likely to report to a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager
- Tasks are completed to the right accuracy and quality standards
- Tasks are completed efficiently and on time
- Client needs are dealt with in a helpful and attentive way
- The cross-functional team is supported in a helpful and positive manner
- An effective contribution is made towards the overall project
- Key information and data are effectively communicated and appropriately retained
- Education - Diploma or B.E. – Civil, Mechanical & Electrical.
- Experience in Fit out, Civil structural is preferred, corporate fit out experience is a must
- You should have relevant experience of working for a construction consultancy in India, be degree educated in a relevant construction subject and have good technical skills.
- 3 - 15 years of post-qualification experience in similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
