Work independently as well as mentor entry level Engineering analysts.Duties And ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL
  • Understand business needs and devise engineering solutions using analysis expertise to support bid, execution or failure and remediation studies.
  • Define scope of work, plan, allocate resources, ensure execution and timely completion of assignments.
  • Mentor other Engineers on design by analysis.
  • Execute complex analysis projects.
  • Lead multiple projects at the same time, including small cross-functional projects.
  • Review work carried out by other analysts, lead design reviews.
  • Approve deliveries made by team.
  • Ensure compliance to established Quality Management Processes.
  • Interact and communicate with business units frequently to understand their requirements.
  • Share regular progress updates with business.
  • Prepare & conduct technical trainings.
  • Guide team members to have them accomplish their performance goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
NON-ESSENTIAL
  • Prepare Analysis process documents
  • Contribute to improving existing Engineering processes
  • Demonstrates high level of initiative to accomplish individual objectives assigned as well as team goals
  • Should be open to travel as per business needs
  • Work towards individual goals aligned with department and organizational objectives
  • Comply to organizational HR policies and procedures
  • Understand and adhere to organizational HSE policies and practices
QualificationsRequired
  • Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree) in Mechanical/Civil/Ocean/Naval Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 4 years of industry experience; - OR -
  • Post-Graduation (Master’s Degree) in Mechanical/Civil/Ocean/Naval Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 2 years of industry experience.
Desired
  • Expert level knowledge on use of FEA & calculation.
  • Strong knowledge of more than one relevant Mechanical industry codes/standards (e.g.; ASME, DNV, API, AISC etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of CAD software used.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
