Forex Controller

• Foreign Exchange: Should have an expert knowledge of Foreign Exchange.

• An ability to Hedge effectively in lines with the Company Hedging Policy and procedures.
• An understanding of FEMA regulations and RBI guidelines on Fx and application of same in Company is a must.
• Had executed FX transactions independently and should be capable to handle large Fx Exposure independently.
• Has knowledge on IFRS 9
• Knowledge of Cash Flow Hedging and Hedge Effectiveness.
• Preparing FX Dashboard for Treasurer and Management on monthly basis.
• Advice Business on Currency and FX Risk in proactive manner.
• Should have exposure on executing FX on Multi Bank Platforms like FxAll, 360T, Bloomberg etc.
• Local treasury, processes and policies, providing advice to the Country Treasury Manager and Corporate on treasury implication of projects and statutory issues.
• Liquidity and Funding - Understanding Cash flow with ability to deploy Cash at Optimum interest in accordance with Risk Management within company policy. Should also be in a position to draw down the loans or other borrowings in cost effective manner. Should have Negotiation capabilities.
• Automation and Simplification - Should be able to independently drive improvement and implementation with Banks. Should have a mindset of simplification and automation of treasury processes and ways of working.
• Monitor and ensure smooth banking service for Trade Finance matters, related to Import and Export, GR Waivers, Bill of Entries and Bank Realization Certificates including timely closure of the same, along with full compliance with the relevant regulations.
• Support business at tender & project stage as need be in treasury matters such and Bonds & Guarantees, Hedging Strategy for Foreign Exchange Exposure, Trade finance (Project Exports, Merchant Trade etc.) in compliance guidelines and coordination with regional / central treasury functions.
• Time bound closing activities of monthly financial matters related to Hedge Accounting, Cash Management, treasury related accounting through shared services along with providing periodic reporting to all business units.
• Remain up to date on all treasury related matters and banking laws and provide updates to key stakeholders who are being impacted by such changes.

• A Chartered Accountant or Equivalent up to 10 years of Working experience.
• In – Depth Knowledge on Foreign Exchange Hedging and related Compliance in Indian Context
• Excellent communication skills both oral and in-writing, networking skills internally & with third parties (banks…)
• Audit and /or internal control, design and implementation of procedures would be a plus.
• Team oriented, collaboration & positive influence skills,
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, etc.)
• Great sense of organization & priorities setting, able to manage projects.
• Banking Relationship - Manage relationship with Banks and other stakeholders - Internal and External
