Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for implementations and monitoring of all mechanical related works at site as per approved drawings and methods and safety rules. Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all Mechanical and related works prior to execution. Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required. Have to read mechanical structural drawing and plan E&C activities in accordance with that. Have to use Lifting equipment's of capacity and should be comfortable to work at an height of 25 mtrs. Have to handle a large team of workmen supplied from vendor or labor contractor Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean Preparing materials and tools list required to work on site and arranging necessary fabrication equipment's and lifting equipment's from near by location Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects. Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients. Gathering data, quality documentation, compiling reports and preparing hand over documents, on site as per given formats and Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team. Requirement Diploma/B.E. in mechanical engineering is must. Candidate should have experience in Structural & Equipment erection and Tanks with knowledge pertaining to majority of equipment used at a large industrial project site. Diverse project experience in engineering, procurement, construction, project management and controls activities. Sound knowledge of Engineering drawing reading is must. 8-12 years of experience executing capital projects. Preference given to experience in oil and gas, Metal mining, petrochemical, power, construction, or fertilizer industry. You should be able to analyse equipment wise operating costs, be well conversant with the latest technology and advancements in the field of equipment erection and structural engineering. Exposure to more than one of the following aspects of project execution (engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, brownfield execution, turnarounds, offshore installation, international project management assignments).
