- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of end-user device platforms and server infrastructure.
- This role is critical to ensuring our systems meet business and security requirements while optimizing performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Architect and engineer standards for end-user devices and platform software (e.g., Windows 11) that align with business needs, security policies, and performance goals.
- Partner with platform architects to design and implement functional, scalable systems.
- Perform high-level system administration including patching, capacity planning, and issue resolution.
- Build and configure server infrastructure components using to support development and operational requirements.
- Participate in planning and assist in executing disaster recovery strategies.
- Address and remediate vulnerability findings using Ivanti Security Controls & EPM
- Investigate and resolve system issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain optimal system performance through monitoring, tuning, and patch management (hardware, firmware, software). Leverage SolarWinds Orion for infrastructure monitoring and alerting.
- Develop and implement processes to minimize platform-related outages and downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues efficiently.
- Provide design and architecture consulting services to internal stakeholders.
- Manage endpoints using Ivanti Endpoint Manager (EPM).
- Engage with incident workflows using ServiceNow.
- Proven experience in infrastructure engineering and platform management.
- Strong knowledge of Windows environments, system security, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with VMware, Ivanti EPM, Ivanti Security Controls, and SolarWinds Orion.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated initiative and ownership in driving projects to completion.
- Adaptability to changing technologies and business needs.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
