- Requisition & Purchase (Direct):
- Review and process requisitions from various departments within the company.
- Create and distribute purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and supplier agreements.
- Utilize purchasing cards (p-cards) for specific transactions, adhering to company guidelines and financial regulations.
- Monitor/Manage Supplier Information:
- Maintain up-to-date supplier information, including contact details, product offerings, and contractual agreements.
- Regularly communicate with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely deliveries and resolve any supply-related issues.
- Evaluate supplier performance and collaborate with suppliers to improve service quality and delivery efficiency.
- Reconcile Purchase Orders:
- Reconcile purchase orders with supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Work closely with the finance team to verify and approve supplier payments based on reconciled purchase orders.
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within the CPG food industry.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools SAP and Ariba.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier management and internal collaboration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and regulations.
