Job Description Coordinating and performing engineering of solenoid actuators for directional control valves Focus : Derive requirements for the actuating magnets from the valve function. Create specifications and drawings based on 3D CAD and coordinate with suppliers. Coordinate and create test plans. Coordinate and, if applicable, carry out qualification tests. Implementation of quality assurance measures (FMEA, tolerance calculations, focus analysis...) Provide engineering assistance for purchasing dept. Competencies : Understanding of valve solenoid function and performance characteristics. Basics of electrical safety. FEM calculation of structural strength (understand / interpret). Tolerance calculations. Performing force-stroke measurements with a measuring machine Good English Communication Advantage with Experience with Direction valves Experience on solenoid development. Intercultural work experience and German language. Qualifications B.E. - Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
