Role Objective:
Lead and optimize manufacturing and business operations to achieve a scalable production
for ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacturing Strategy planning & Scaling:
- Drive transformation of manufacturing systems to support high-frequency
production. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing
operations.
- Build scalable infrastructure for mass production and rapid deployment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align manufacturing objectives with overall business
goals.
  • Cross-Functional Operations:
- Ensure seamless coordination across various functions, to ensure alignment with
overall business objectives.
- Align operational execution with strategic business goals.
  • Operational Excellence:
- Lead cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six
Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and
quality targets are met.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance
operational performance.
  • Project & Customer Management:
- Manage multiple customer programs and ensure timely, quality delivery across
concurrent projects.
- Serve as the operational point of contact for key clients, ensuring alignment on
expectations, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder & Team Leadership:
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams &
cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Promote collaboration and accountability across teams.
- Interface with other departments, such as engineering, finance, and sales, to ensure
alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Manufacturing Leadership:
- Oversee plant operations, workforce planning, Manage and optimize resources,
including manpower, equipment, and materials, automation, and technology adoptionto meet production demands.
- Bring hands-on experience managing business units in a manufacturing setup.
  • Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure products meet or exceed
quality standards.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to identify and address areas for
improvement.
  • Supply Chain Management:
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely and cost-effective
procurement of raw materials.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance production needs with working capital
requirements.
  • Business & Technical Acumen:
- Apply strategic thinking and technical expertise to drive operational decisions and
performance.
- Develop and manage budgets for manufacturing operations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-effective measures.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and environmental compliance standards.
Ensure a safe working environment and promote a culture of safety awareness.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay informed about industry regulations and ensure compliance with relevant
standards and guidelines.
- Work with regulatory bodies as needed to address compliance issues.
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing and operations, preferably in
aerospace, automotive, or complex engineering sectors.
  • Proven success in scaling production, managing complex operations, and delivering
multi-customer projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management, and
continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Proven success in scaling mass production and managing end-to-end operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, production planning, and digital transformation tools is a
plus.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.
