R&D Engineer

• Assist in the development of new skincare/cosmeceutical formulations

• Work on improving existing products for performance and stability

• Conduct trials, sample preparation, and batch formulations

• Research new ingredients, actives, and market trends in skincare and cosmeceutical

• Analyze competitor products and suggest improvements

• Stay updated with industry innovations and regulatory changes

• Perform stability testing, compatibility testing, and basic lab evaluations

• Maintain records of experiments, observations, and results

• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for product validation

• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and formulation records

• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and safety standards

• Work closely with production, quality, and marketing teams

• Support scale-up processes and product launches

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field

• 0–2 years of experience in skincare/cosmeceutical R&D

• Basic understanding of cosmetic formulations and ingredients

• Knowledge of lab practices and testing methods

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

• Experience with emulsions, serums, gels, and active-based formulations

• Understanding of regulatory standards in cosmetics/cosmeceutical

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
