The position is responsible for providing strategic leadership and building a road-map for the mechanical commodities assignedReporting to the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for:

Managing end to end procurement of Mechanical Components like Lubricant Oil Consoles, Heat Exchangers, Skids, Gear Boxes, Valves etc.
Identifying the supplier base and strategizing effective plans for using them for the global business requirements
Building and implementing business specific initiatives and measures based on respective commodity strategy
Executing periodic strategic procurement activities -market requirements, negotiations planning, commodity strategy updates, awarding strategy and sourcing

Only candidates with 8+ yrs exp in procurement of Mechanical Components to apply|Only candidates from Oil & Gas/ Industrial Automation should applyAn ideal candidate is a full time engineer with 8-15 years of experience in handling sourcing and procurement of Mechanical Components like Lubricant Oil Consoles, Heat Exchangers, Skids, Gear Boxes, Valves etc. You should have prior experience of working in Oil and Gas/ industrial automation/ Automotive industries. You should have strong stakeholder management skills and should possess a strong vision towards growth and profitability of the business. You should have hands on experience in managing multiple stakeholders internally as well as externally, both domestic and international, and have impeccable communication skills.Our client is a leading global MNC with presence across multiple industries such as electrical and electronics manufacturing, energy, power etc. They are looking to hire Commodity Manager- Mechanical based out of Pune.
