Experience Required: Minimum 6 YearsPosition OverviewThe Assistant Sales Manager - Industrial Division (North Region) will be responsible for leading, managing, and executing sales strategies across the North Region for a leading German multinational. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with strong exposure to the industrial lubricants sector, proven team-handling capability, and the ability to drive sustained business growth.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned to the regional industrial market
- Achieve revenue, volume, and profitability targets in line with business objectives
- Identify market opportunities and build long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and benchmarking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, technical, supply chain, finance)
- Track sales performance through KPIs and initiate corrective actions
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade fairs, and customer meetings
- Ensure adherence to sales policies, credit control, collections, and compliance
- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in sales and business development
- Strong exposure to industrial lubricants, specialty chemicals, or OEM segments
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel extensively within the North Region
