- Responsible for daily AR-related tasks, including payment allocation, invoicing, refunds, collection, and aging.
- Responsible for daily AP-related tasks, including billing, credits, and multi-currency payment remittance to sellers.
- Conduct and prepare routine reconciliation across all financial interfaces for both buyer and seller sides of the business.
- Research and resolve discrepancies with shipment and cost details, share findings, and work with stakeholders to improve data accuracy.
- Prepare accurate and transparent statements and occasional ad-hoc reporting to be delivered externally to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for our international buyers and sellers in addressing any inquiries, questions, or concerns related to accounts, billing, wallets, credit, or other financial topics.
- Assist with KYC and onboarding of new buyers and sellers, collect all data and related documents and confirm data accuracy in all systems.
- Identify bottlenecks in current operational processes and suggest and implement changes to the Freightos SOP.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
- Beyond the language of finance, you’ll need fluent English (written and spoken).
- Accuracy, attention to detial. Like, you just noticed the typo in detail.
- Good time and stakeholder management skills.
- Disciplined to follow given processes.
- Solid knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets (It should be your playground). You gotta love V/XLOOKUPs, Pivot tables, and much more.
- Oracle Netsuite Ninja. Yes, we’re looking for you to navigate the lands of this ERP system like a pro.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a finance/accounting role.
- Prior work experience in Financial Operations.
- Familiarity with different payment platforms and online platforms.
- Experience in a multilingual and multicultural working environment.
- Full-time position
- Working days: Monday through Friday
- Working hours: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM Chennai time including break hour. During the training period, the schedule may be different.
