Overview:Work Location – Hyderabad /GurugramExperience – 3 to 5 YearsShift Timing – 6:30pm - 3:30am IST (During Day light Savings: 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST)Hybrid Mode – 3 Days Work from Office per weekMandatory Skills: FP&A (Budgeting, Forecasting, Variance Analysis), Billing knowledge, Excel, Financial Reporting, Vantage / D365 ERP - added advantage, Excellent communication skillsAbout Role :The Client Finance Analyst is the day-to-day contact for the financial and operational matters detailed below with supervision and guidance. The Client Finance Analyst interacts regularly with Account Management and Project Management teams as well as agencies' shared service center. The Client Finance Analyst is responsible for assigned clients in addition to ad hoc projects. The Client Finance Analyst must understand and comply with client contracts as they relate to compensation, billing, compliance, financial reporting, reconciliation, and other deliverables.Join us at OGS

  • Manage, open and review requests for all billable and client non-billable jobs opening, closing, and locking as appropriate
  • Own the job status of each project and ensure that when Account Management and Project Management request a change in status that Omaha executes swiftly and reports are updated
  • Communicate job numbers to team members so timesheets are accurate and timely
  • Coordinate with agency teams including Account Management and Project Management, as well as Client Finance Managers so estimates are entered correctly and timely, as well as updated and approved in the system
  • Coordinate monthly billings with shared service center to ensure billing is completed by the deadline of each assigned client
  • Check invoice for accuracy including but not limited to amount, billing address, and contact information, as well as the integrity of client billing contract requirements
  • Monitor and add commentary monthly on the WIP report
  • Ensure that out-of-pocket expenses are being billed timely
  • Prepare, update, and analyze trackers weekly so all estimates, actuals, variances, and billing information are pulled accurately
  • Schedule meetings to review trackers according to cadence for each team
  • Analyze and call out to Client Finance Manager and/or internal teams if projects are running hot and/or not tracking to benchmark
  • Take diligent notes on job statuses and overall financial health of the projects for assigned clients during tracker meetings
  • Send recap email to align on updates discussed in meeting and ensure any required updates are executed in advance of the next report run/review
  • Perform administrative duties involving data entry such as rate card entry, opening jobs, closing jobs, overall job status of projects, running unapproved time reports, and estimate creation/status
  • Assist with adhoc requests come up for assigned accounts and review with Client Finance Manager for submission to client and/or Account Management teams
  • Collaborate with other Client Finance Analysts within the group to raise any issues or similar road bumps if any should occur
  • Review all transfer requests for accuracy and ensure appropriate approvals are in place before transferring to Omaha Shared Services team
  • Work with Accounts Receivable team to ensure timely client payments and align to payment terms within Master Service Agreement Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Post Graduate Degree in accounting or finance with 3-5 years of experience in FP&A Operations, Finance and Accounts
  • Having prior experience into R2R processes is (Preferred)
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel and ability to quickly learn any new ERP or BI Tools
  • Having Good Knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Flexibility to take up different assignments and not limit oneself to specific set of activities
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment
  • Flexible and Result Oriented with Strong Written & Oral Communication Skills
Desirable Skills & Attributes
  • MS Excel - Basic knowledge in functions and formulas to perform VLOOKUP, pivot tables, creating charts, graphs, cand overall data capture
  • Basic knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP and/or business systems a plus
  • Knowledge of Vantage a plus
