The ARC (Automation, Reinvention and Collaboration) team is the innovation arm of Operations at Parametric, with the mission to transform the group to become the next-gen operations organization. The team works closely with tech, investment and other functions at Parametric to provide the platform, capabilities and enablement for operations to scale and succeed.ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a passionate and result-driven data product leader with strong technical background and vision for leveraging emerging technologies to drive operational innovation. This role will drive the design and delivery of scalable data products that support global Operations, and act as the local ARC lead overseeing a growing team of high-performing associates and analysts in Mumbai.The ideal candidate will blend strong product thinking, deep understanding of operational workflows, and data fluency, while also bringing leadership experience to mentor and manage a junior team in a high-visibility transformation function.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITESOps Data Product Ownership
- Lead the definition and roadmap of data products that support across operations functions and use cases, e.g. client onboarding, reconciliation, capacity modeling, and process telemetry.
- Translate Ops data use cases into clear, structured data deliverables (e.g. metrics, dashboards, semantic layers).
- Prioritize product backlogs across competing demands and own the full product lifecycle from discovery to adoption.
- Manage and drive execution of department data projects and initiatives.
- Ensure data definitions, sources, and lineage are clearly documented.
- Work with engineers and stewards to enforce SLA, accuracy, and data lifecycle management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and serve as point person for Ops Data Product with key stakeholders, including senior management, business partners, technology, product and sales functions.
- Build trust with users and tech partners to ensure data products are aligned with business context and scaled across regions.
- Effectively communicate data product vision, progress, and challenges to stakeholders.
- Represent the team to executive leadership, key stakeholders. This role will serve as a key contact for operations teams in other locations, sales and product teams, portfolio management, client service and technology areas.
- Leads and drives continuous improvement in operations as a member of the Global ARC team. Develop people to be change agents, empowering employees to act on improvements and change quickly – with or without the aid of technology.
- Act as ARC’s local lead in Mumbai, providing day-to-day people management, coaching, and professional development of the ARC team members.
- Collaborate with ARC leads in other regions to ensure global alignment while strengthening regional execution.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Performs wide array of developmental functions, including interviewing, performance appraisals, development planning, and corrective action/termination.
- Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science. or related field
- 10+ years of experience in product management, data strategy in financial services or technology
- Proven track records of defining and delivering data products or platforms used by cross-functional teams
- 4+ years of experience managing and mentoring junior team members, fostering a strong and cohesive team culture, successfully leading continuous improvement initiatives, and empowering team members to drive change
- Strong understanding of operations workflows and how data drives decisions
- Proficiency in working with data tools (e.g., SQL, PowerBI/Tableau, Snowflake) and collaborating with data engineers
- Experience in agile development methodologies
- Skilled in planning, prioritizing, and meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across different regions and organizational levels.
- Ability to quickly resolve issues with a strong sense of urgency and effectively operate in ambiguous conditions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply a logical approach and succeed with an entrepreneurial mindset
- May be required to work coverage during local holidays as markets require
- Master’s Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science. or related field
- Financial Services industry experience preferred
